About this Course

Astronomy is a subject of many hats: it inspires the humanities and combines scientific techniques and ideas from physics, geology, chemistry, and biology. This course is an introductory astronomy course for non-science majors. It serves as a prerequisite to astronomy majors while also fulfilling the physical lab and environmental requirements of the University of Minnesota. In this course, we will cover a breadth of astronomy topics and also discuss general science practices.
